How to use it
- Type the price the item sells for, after any offer you accepted.
- Type what you paid for the item and the packaging.
- Add a shipping discount if you offered one to the buyer, since that comes out of your earnings.
- Read the fee, your earnings and your profit.
How Poshmark calculates its fee
Poshmark has a two-part rule: below a price threshold it takes a flat fee, and at or above it takes a percentage of the sale price. There is no separate listing fee or payment processing fee. The current amounts are in the table above, with the date they were checked.
The buyer normally pays for the prepaid shipping label Poshmark emails you. If you offer a discounted shipping rate, the discount is subtracted from your earnings.
Around the threshold, the fee switches from flat to percentage. On cheap items the flat fee is a large share of the price, so bundling several low-priced items into one sale often pays off.
Offers and price drops
Many Poshmark sales close through offers. Use target price mode to know the lowest offer you can accept and still make the profit you want, then set your listing price above it to leave room for negotiation.
What the calculator does not know
- Returns, cancellations and cases.
- Fees on sales in other countries or on Poshmark's other selling formats.
- Sales tax: Poshmark collects and remits it as a marketplace facilitator, so it is not part of your earnings.
